Usher

Every week our ushers help make the services run smoothly and give assistance to whoever may need it. If you'd like to serve as one of the ushers, please fill out the form on the previous page, and you'll hear from us shortly.

Greeter

Parking Attendant

Hospitality

Media

At HRock we believe in excellence and quality in everthing we do. Part of how you can help to create an atmosphere of excellence is by serving in any of our media-related volunteer positions. Ministry Team

HRock Church Ministry Team

We believe it is the heart of God to build up and edify the Body of Christ in an atmosphere of grace and safety, and we desire to insure the highest standards of ministry at HRock Church. The men and women who make up the Ministry Teams go through a process to show accountability and character, so you can know that the person who prays for you has been qualified to do so.

The Ministry Team’s objectives are to nurture a safe environment where you can receive ministry and to facilitate the moving of the Holy Spirit under the direction of the Ministry Team Director and the Ministry Team Captains. Our goal is to release God’s love, healing, empowerment and deliverance to those who indicate a desire to receive prayer. In line with Scripture, our ministry should edify, exhort and comfort.

1 Corinthians 13:1-2 – “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.”

Requirements for Ministry Team Membership

- Six-month continuous membership at HRock

- Committed member of an HRock Church Cell Group for the past six months.

- Have attended all Pre-Requisite Classes:
– HRock New Members Training and Foundations Classes
– Ministry Team Training Meeting

- Have attended and gone through one or more Inner Healing Ministries:
– Equipping Class with Pastor Gwen Gibson
– Sozo
– Dancing On The Graves Of Your Past
– Pure Eyes
– No Longer Bound

- Serving at HRock in one of the following areas
– A Cell leader, assistant leader or spiritual parent
– Any other ministry such as Children’s Ministry, Worship Team, Intercessory Team Leader, Small Group, Usher

- Spiritual Discipline: praying and reading regularly

- Enforce Ministry Team Rules

- F.A.S.T: Faithful, Available, Submissive, Teachable

Training

- Have read, understood and committed to the HRock Ministry Team Guidelines handout

- Attend HRock Ministry Team Training.

- Three months observing and being observed while serving as catcher or intercessor.

Screening (Objective: to promote the ministry of all qualified people and to release them)

- Ministry Team Application

- Ministry Team Assessment Form
– Very favorable Assessment Form
– Verifiable: We may contact the pastor/elder/cell leader, if we have questions.

-Approval Process
– Meet the minimum qualifications
– Full release by the HRock Pastors and Ministry Team Director
– Receive the release from the Lord—listening prayer
– Reserve the right to refuse anyone for any reason
– Always willing to work out a solution, over time with a specific plan
