WHO WE ARE

At HRock Church, we LOVE to worship Jesus! Worshiping Jesus is our top value. We are rooted in the Word of God and led by Holy Spirit to reveal Jesus Christ to us. Through the Word, we have learned that long before we could ever have a capacity to love God, He loved us first. 

We have learned that from the beginning we have been created by God with a deep hunger for relationship, for intimacy and for worship. Who are we? We are the ones who found Jesus, and He has given us great cause for celebration in our hearts and songs on our lips to proclaim our salvation in Christ Jesus. God sent His only Son to lay down His life to save the world back unto Himself. We respond to this Truth with hearts of thanksgiving, praise and love. This is our worship.

WHY WE WORSHIP

We have been created for intimacy and relationship with Jesus, the visible image of the invisible God (Col. 1:15). God has given us His Spirit of wisdom and revelation so that we could know Him more (Eph. 1:17-20). God sent His Son to pay for each and every one of us, an even exchange in His eyes (2 Cor. 5:21)—His Son for His son, His Son for His daughter, in order to get His kids back home with Him in victorious relationship (John 3:16)! 

We know where we came from, where we were when He personally rescued us. We have our own testimonies of what Jesus has done, and we know that Jesus is indeed our Savior. He is our Redeemer. He is our Deliverer. He is our Everything! All of that is why we will worship Jesus forever! We want our worship to reach the nations, to provoke every listener to participate with us in their own authentic expressions of worship to Jesus, the Savior of the world!
