LIFE IN COMMUNITY AT HROCK CHURCH
At HRock Church we want to help you find the place that God has prepared for you. As part of the Body of Christ, we believe that each member has a unique and important place to connect with other members, work and serve for the benefit of the wider Body. Our passion is to see you get CONNECTED, to help you GROW and to launch you to GO and discover the good works that God has prepared in advance for you.
At a church our size, it can be easy to get lost in the crowd. So we encourage everyone to get CONNECTED into some type of small group in order to get to know other members in a personal way.
- HRock Life Groups provide an opportunity for you to experience community and share your life with others by building relationships in small groups. Too often we attempt to do life alone and we miss the great benefits of being part of God’s family. We all need a place to belong and be known. In these groups you can find support in time of need and accountability in your daily walk with God, as well as the joy of being part of a smaller community of believers. We were made to be in community and in fellowship with one another. Each of us has giftings that can only be expressed through relationship in small groups. These groups meet regularly in leaders’ homes to provide a life-giving environment to grow in faith and ministry. Our Life Group leaders have been released to provide pastoral oversight for their groups.
- HRock Connect Groups are built around common interests or ministries that allow people to gather doing things they already love doing and sharing their lives at the same time. Connect Groups generally are shorter-term groups or they may run intermittently throughout the year. This is where you can connect to people of similar interests and grow together! So join one or two today and get connected!
